Rahim Sajan | Co-Founder & Principal
Rahim is a Teacher, Curator, Founder and Co-founder of several organizations based in Calgary with global reach. One of these is TEDxCalgary, which he co- founded in 2009. This makes him one of the longest serving TEDx Curators in the world. He is a multi disciplinary thinker and doer, known for his skills in moving hearts and minds through architecting powerful learning environments, as an educator, curator, speaker coach and communications strategist. Rahim received his undergraduate degrees and graduate degree from the University of Calgary and has received various honours including being recognized as a distinguished University of Calgary Alumni, and as a Calgary Top 40 under 40.

Jonathan Perkins | Co-Founder & Principal
When he’s not out meeting others interested in advancing collective initiatives that build progress in our cities and societies, Jonathan Perkins works in the integrated talent, innovation, knowledge and learning fields. He is a co-founder and current CEO of TEDxCalgary, which has been activating thousands of curious minds in Calgary since 2009. Jonathan is an alumnus of the Leadership Calgary class of 2003, and was a returning guide in 2004.
He also is a Strategic Doing™ practitioner, using the technique to help advance
collaborative community initiatives in various fields. From November 2011 to October 2015 he was a member of the Calgary Police Commission, serving two terms, and is an active volunteer on a range of community boards.
He has previously worked with Suncor Energy Inc. on significant process and technical projects in the learning strategy and systems space, with the LeadWell Foundation/LeadWell Initiative as Chief Operating Officer, with the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta (pre-merger) as Vice President of Accreditation, with CentrePoint as a manager of consulting, and with the
Parliamentary Centre in Ottawa as a coordinator of international parliamentary programs and an advisor to Canadian Parliamentary delegations.
Jonathan is an avid student of ideas, history, politics, and technology. He can be found kayaking on various Alberta lakes and rivers, hiking in one of our amazing Provincial or Federal parks, or out camping.
